Ron Swanson Gets a New Tammy

Ron Swanson may have gotten the shaft at the Emmys this year, but he's about to get something better - a brand new Tammy of his very own. If you watch "Parks & Recreation," you'll know that the moustachioed alpha male Ron Swanson (played by Nick Offerman) has a thing for Tammies.
"Will and Grace" star Megan Mullally played his second ex-wife Tammy 2 last year, and the show teased the presence of a new Tammy (his first ex-wife, Tammy 1) at the end of last season.
"Parks & Recreation" sources confirmed to TVLine "that Oscar-nominated actress (and Andy Samberg’s Motherlover) Patricia Clarkson has nabbed the coveted role of Tammy 1, the much-feared first ex-wife of Nick Offerman’s Ron."
Exec producer Michael Schur told TV Guide that “Tammy 1 is her own specific brand of demon. I think we came up with backstory for her that’s both funny and illuminating and also answers all of the questions that you would have when seeing people’s reactions to her presence in the finale.”
