'Rogue One' Darth Vader Trailer is Elusive

At last week's London Star Wars Celebration event, fans were treated to some tantalizing new glimpses of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first of those glimpses was a slickly edited behind-the-scenes reel that delivered some great shots of the movie's characters, sets, costumes and effects. The bigger story, though, was the new trailer for the movie that debuted at Celebration. Unfortunately, if you weren't at the event you probably haven't seen it yet.

The trailer includes the long-awaited first look at Darth Vader in the film. The legendary villain appears at the end of the trailer in silhouette, and his raspy breathing heralds his introduction. Vader's presence in the film was officially confirmed only recently, and since then fans have been clamoring for a new look at their old favorite character.

The problem is that the trailer has not been officially released, and Lucasfilm is serious about keeping it away from the general public until they're ready, going as far as to force down unofficially posted bootleg versions of the trailer. No release date for the trailer has been announced, and fans are grwoing increasingly jittery as they wait.

In the meantime, you can watch the new behind-the-scenes footage over and over again.
