Robin Williams Sent This Lovely Video to a Cancer Patient Before He Died

A 21-year-old woman from New Zealand has given us another reason to be sad that Robin Williams is gone.

Vivian Waller, upon learning that she had terminal lung, bowel and liver cancer, decided to make a bucket list and try to live her remaining days to the fullest. That list included five items:

1. Get married.
2. Make it to her 21st birthday.
3. See her daughter make it to her 1st birthday.
4. Travel to Rarotonga.
5. Meet Robin Williams.

Unfortunately, Waller's illness kept her captive in her hospital room and unable to make the trip to the United States to meet Williams. So one of her friends came up with an idea for the next best thing: Reach out to Williams and see if he would record a video greeting.

In keeping with the stories we've been hearing of his kindness after his passing, Williams obliged and sent Waller a sweet video. "Hi Vivian, it's Robin Williams here saying, 'Hey girl what's going on down there in New Zealand.'" says Williams in the video, adopting a bit of the local accent. "I'm sending all my love to you, Jack and Sophie...knock this off your bucket list."

He then "channels Matthew McConaughey" a bit in true Robin Williams style before signing off.

Williams sent the video about two months before taking his own life, and according to Waller's husband, Jack, she still doesn't know about the actor's death. "We are just enjoying the time we have together. We take things a day at a time," he said.

Thanks to that video, Waller met all of her bucket list wishes except for the trip to Rarotonga.
