Robin Williams Checks into Rehab - But Don't Worry, it's For Good Reasons

Robin Williams Checks into Rehab - But Don't Worry, it's For Good Reasons Another actor heads to rehab, but don't you go worrying your head over Robin Williams.

Though Williams has checked into Minnesota's Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center, his rep has confirmed that our favorite "The Crazy Ones" actor is doing just fine.

"After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud."

A source close to the actor added that it's "not about him falling off the wagon. It's like an educational and spiritual facility... it's all very healthy."

His rep added that the trip to the center had been long-planned, and Williams had already almost completed the trip and will be heading home shortly.

This is good news to hear! The media became concerned when a notably thin Williams posed for a picture with a fan at a Dairy Queen near the treatment facility. Williams struggled with addictions to cocaine and alcohol in the past.

He gave up cocaine after his close friend Jim Belushi overdosed and died in 1982. William's most recent stint in rehab was in 2006 for alcohol abuse.

"It's hard admitting it, then once you've done that, it's real easy," Williams has said of seeking help. "You think people don't notice. Then you find out later, 'We knew... you went outside naked.' No, I didn't. But even the dog was like, 'What's wrong, boy?' Humiliation gives you humility."
