Robert Pattinson's Charming Interview: Sex, Coffee, and What Makes Him Cry!
by Shannon KeirnanIn an interview with Australian The Kyle and Jackie O Show, Robert Pattinson is amusing and charmingly casual while promoting “Breaking Dawn: Part 2.”
Pattinson responds to Twitter and Facebook questions sent in by fans, revealing some adorable secrets and a serious softness for the tear-jerking “Marley and Me.”
He also manages to induce a few chuckles when trying to decide on his favorite “Twilight” scene, settling on when Edward and Bella meet.
“I like the scene where Bella walks Edward for the first time… In the first one, where she kind of walks behind him and he’s by his car, and I just thought, whenever I see it I’m just making the most ridiculous facial expressions. And it’s like… so, I was so serious when I was doing this… It looks like she’s farting, like, behind as she walks past…It’s terrible.”
“I was like…devastated… it’s absolutely awful… I never want to see it again… It’s like looking at like, war footage, genocide footage,” he says of the movie that makes him cry, the dog-loving drama/comedy “Marley and Me.”
When asked about his Starbucks order, Pattinson admits “that’s embarrassing as well,” and reluctantly opens up to enjoying a low-calorie non-fat Misto… a fake latte.
What was the most challenging scene to shoot in the “Twilight” saga? I won’t reveal it, but Pattinson thought it was “ridiculous.”
But the best part of the interview? Listening to Pattinson try to explain the awkwardness of filming a PG-13 sex scene for “Twilight” with the camera zoomed in on his face and 40 people watching him and his off-screen girlfriend Kristen Stewart try to make forced expressions of ecstasy.
