Robert Pattinson on Kristen Stewart Breakup: 'S**t Happens'

If you ever go through a bad breakup, just take Robert Pattinson's lead and say "sh*t happens."

The "Twilight" actor opened up to Esquire UK about his very public split from Kristen Stewart, following a scandal in which Stewart was revealed to be cheating with married "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

"S**t happens, you know?" he said. "It's just young people...it's normal! And honestly, who gives a s**t?"

Besides the legions of "Twilight" fans? Nobody, Rob.

But for him, it wasn't the public scrutiny or the shouting on Twitter that was hardest for him. "The hardest part was talking about it afterwards," he admitted. "Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict."

Pattinson has, understandably, kept his love life quiet since the split. But fortunately, things have been going well professionally for the actor, who is getting good reviews for his performance in the post-apocalyptic "The Rover" opposite Guy Pearce.
