Robert Pattinson Hates His Nickname, 'R-Pattz'
by Andy NeuenschwanderA word of warning for any "Twilight" fans out there hoping to meet Robert Pattinson one day: if you do meet him, make sure you don't call him "R-Pattz." He might strangle you.
Okay, he probably won't really, but he might want to. As it turns out, Pattinson isn't a big fan of his nickname. In fact, he knows exactly what he would like to do to the person who came up with it.
In an interview with The Guardian, Pattinson mused, "I don’t understand who exactly invented that thing, ‘R-Patz.' I want to strangle them."
So, if you're the one who coined "R-Pattz," you're the lucky guy or gal who gets to have Robert Pattinson's hands around your neck! Congratulations! Be sure to have a friend snap a photo, since you'll be dead and everything.
It has become clear in recent interviews that poor Robert is quite done with the whole "Twilight" thing, saying that he wouldn't return for another movie even if they paid him a billion dollars. Realistically, he might reconsider that, but we're not taking things too literally here today. Except for comments about strangling.
Pattinson won't have to worry too long, as "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" comes out later this year and finishes up the franchise. Pattinson's latest film, "Cosmopolis," performed well at Cannes and might help steer Pattinson's career away from an endless sea of teen romance movies.
