'The Situation' to Roast 'The Donald' (Plus, Trump on Palin)

'The Situation' to Roast 'The Donald' (Plus, Trump on Palin) After consistently putting "Celebrity Apprentice" contestants up for scrutiny, billionaire and real estate mogul Donald Trump will get his turn in the hot seat during his Comedy Central Roast.

Roasters announced so far include Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Whitney Cummings, Snoop Dogg, Anthony Jeselnik, Larry King, Lisa Lampanelli, Marlee Matlin and comedian Jeffery Ross.

According to the press release, additional roasters will be announced shortly.

The show will tape at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on March 9 and air on Tuesday, March 15.

Amid “The Donald’s” current “fake-campaign” to run for president, roasters likely won’t have to worry about insulting a potential Head of State.

With a new season of the "Celebrity Apprentice" to promote, commentators hold that Trump has been leading reporters to believe he will run as a Republican with the campaign theme “America Gets No Respect” (borrowed from comedian Rodney Dangerfield).

Political pundits are jumping at the story, like Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh recently had Trump on his show speaking about how he offered to buy the White House a fancy ballroom to replace their party tent but they turned him down.

Jon Stewart jumped in the conversation Tuesday on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart," mentioning candidates like Trump and Palin in his launch of "Indecision: 2012."

Trump has said of Palin, in a 2010 interview on Good Morning America, “I like her, but I’d take her on.”
