Report: Which TV Shows Get Naked First? (Hint: Not 'True Blood')

Report: Which TV Shows Get Naked First? (Hint: Not 'True Blood') It's a well-known fact that when you sign up for a premium cable channel such as Showtime, Starz or HBO, you're going to be able to enjoy at least two things you won't be able to see elsewhere on TV: f-bombs, and boobs.

The latter is the subject of an interesting study performed by New York Magazine, which compiles a list of the major premium cable shows in order of how soon into the first episode they show nudity.

All of the usual suspects are on the list--"Game of Thrones," "True Blood," "Spartacus: Blood and Sand"--but a few surprising entries top the list. In fact, the sex-filled "True Blood" didn't feature nudity until 12 minutes and 40 seconds in. In Starz and Showtime terms, that's practically an eternity.

So who topped the list, then? "Californication" seemed to be the quickest 3:10, and it would have been even faster if that nun in the pilot had undressed. There are some other names in the top ten that make sense, including "The Borgias" (4:41), "Rome" (5:38), the aforementioned "Spartacus" (6:04) and "Camelot" (7:01).

But shockingly, "Crash" came in second place at 4:31, and "Treme," "Homeland" and "Six Feet Under" made the top ten as well, beating shows like "Game of Thrones" (30:53) and even "Shameless" (18:00).

Check out the full list over at NY Mag, as well as the specific criteria for the list and the...activities that the naked people are doing in each show.
