Remaining Episodes of 'Don't Trust the B---- in Apt 23' to be Posted Online
by Zack WellsBack in January, ABC silently pulled “Don’t Trust the B---- in Apt 23” from the air without an explanation, leaving viewers wondering. Well, rest easy, you can finally view the final 8 episodes!
Starting on May 8th, ABC will be posting the episodes online for everyone to watch. You will be able to watch them through Yidio, so make sure to check back next month.
Fans of the show might be confused as to why it was cancelled so suddenly. It even took some of the cast by surprise. ABC never explained their reasoning for their hasty removal, and despite critical praise, it can be assumed it was cancelled due to ratings. In its final episodes, it was pulling in a rough 3.2 million viewers, which, while a decent amount, still made it one of ABCs lowest rating shows.
For those of you who haven’t seen it yet, the show followed June, a young up-and-coming go-getter, who moved to New York City to get her dream job in a mortgage company. However, upon arrival, the job is taken away, and the company is closed. She ends up moving in with a party-girl slash con-artist named Chloe, who are initially at odds with one another. They eventually form an unlikely friendship, and hijinks ensue.
The show starred Krysten Ritter as Chloe and Dreama Walker as June. It also starred James Van Der Beek playing a parody of himself as he tries to get past his days in “Dawson’s Creek”, and make something of himself and revive his acting career. The show also featured cameos by other child stars, creating a recurring gag out of it.
As I said, the final 8 episodes of season 2 will be available online starting May 17th, so make sure to check back.
