Recently Divorced Olivia Wilde Defends Kim Kardashian's Decision

Recently Divorced Olivia Wilde Defends Kim Kardashian's Decision Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries may yet put a kill-shot into "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" via a 25,000-plus signature online petition, but the whole fuss might've made Kim a compassionate friend.

Former "House" ensemble star and current "In Time" cast member Olivia Wilde recently parted ways for good herself, following eight years of marriage, with Italian prince Tao Ruspoli after separating from the Mediterranean royal in February of this year.

She's divorcing at 27-years-old. The 31-year-old Kardashian ended her marriage after 72 days following a spectacle prime-time wedding chronicled by E! cameras for a two-part "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" special.

That doesn't mean Wilde's perspectives differs that much from Kim's.

"I empathize. It's not easy," Wilde said to the New York Post recently. Sources told Us Weekly recently that Kim feels "the world turned against her" following the fickle-seeming divorce. "Divorce is the hardest thing in the world," added Wilde, who eloped with Ruspoli when only 19-years-old, the same age Kardashian was when she married music producer Damon Thomas.

"People judge you because divorce is seen as a failure. (Kim) took a risk," Wilde said. "No one should be attacking her. Our attention should be focused on things that are truly scandalous."
