Really? Perez Hilton to Host 'Glee: The Music' Awards

For those who think there are already too many award shows out there, get ready to slam your head into your desk. Gossip blogger Perez Hilton has announced that he will be hosting the first annual "Glee: The Music" Awards on Tuesday, May 31st.

Though this will be a untelevised event (it will stream live on Perez Hilton's website), it is officially sponsored by 20th Century Fox and Columbia Records, who bring you "Glee" and all of those "Glee"-inspired albums. Or, at least that's what it says on perezhilton.com, where the announcement was made. Perez could just be having an awards show in his basement.

Categories include "Best Original Song," "Song of the Season," "Best Solo" with both male and female categories, and many more. There is, of course, a "Best Warblers Song" category as well.

Winners will be determined by fan vote and will be announced on the LiveStream on May 31st at 8pm ET. If you want to vote for your favorites, just head over to the official page. Or, if you want to pretend this doesn't exist and never speak of it again, you can do that too.
