'Ravenswood' Cancelled; Caleb Goes Back to 'Pretty Little Liars'?

'Ravenswood' Cancelled; Caleb Goes Back to 'Pretty Little Liars'? "Pretty Little Liars" spin-off "Ravenswood" has been axed by ABC Family at the end of its 10-episode first season. The last episode of the season, which aired on Feb. 4, will be the last episode of the series, leaving fans to wonder if they'll ever find out how the show's cliffhangers were resolved.

The show starred Tyler Blackburn's "PLL" character, Caleb, and was set in Ravenswood, a neighboring town to Rosewood, the setting of "PLL." The series' premise revolved around an ancient curse that caused mysterious goings-on in the town, and a complex web of characters who tried to get to the bottom of the mystery.

Even though it debuted with enthusiastic support from ABC Family—the network ordered the show straight to series and introduced it on last year's annual "PLL" Halloween special--"Ravenswood" never really caught on with viewers.  The series premiere drew 2.1 million viewers, but by the end of the season, those numbers had fallen to 1.4 million, and the average ratings for "Ravenswood" were little more than half those of "PLL."

Fan reaction to the news was mixed. Many lamented the cancellation, but others weren't surprised, and lots of "PLL" fans expressed hope that Caleb will now return to Rosewood where he belongs. Perhaps if he does, he'll fill everyone in on what happened in Ravenswood.
