Professional Bad Guy Christoph Waltz Rumored as Next James Bond Villain

Three elements have to come together in perfect harmony in order to make a James Bond movie perfect: Bond himself, the Bond Girl, and the Bond Villain.

If the current rumors prove to be true, it looks like we know who will be playing each in the next Bond movie. And it's looking good.

Christoph Waltz is rumored to be cast as the next Bond villain in the 24th James Bond movie, according to Daily Mail reporter Baz Bamigboye. That would have Waltz starring opposite Daniel Craig, who is returning as Bond, and Lea Seydoux, who is rumored to be the next major Bond girl.

It's a decision that could have made itself: Waltz burst onto the international scene when he starred as Nazi officer Hans Landa in "Inglourious Basterds." His chilling yet personable portrayal of the villainous "Jew Hunter" earned him a Best Supporting Actor Oscar (an award he would repeat three years later after his next Quentin Tarantino film, "Django Unchained").

In fact, Waltz plays the bad guy so well that he has made himself a career in Hollywood doing it. He voiced the villain in the animated "Epic," and he'll be playing the baddie in both "Horrible Bosses 2" and the upcoming "Tarzan" movie.

If Waltz is indeed the villain, he will likely be joined by "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Dave Bautista, who is rumored to be playing a henchman. Returning to the cast will be Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris in their various MI-6 designations.
