'Pretty Little Liars' Star Lucy Hale Opens Up About Eating Disorder

'Pretty Little Liars' Star Lucy Hale Opens Up About Eating Disorder It's nothing new for Hollywood stars, especially younger women, to struggle with eating disorders when faced with the body image pressure that the industry imposes. So it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that "Pretty Little Liars" star Lucy Hale had her own problems.

In a recent interview, Hale opened up about her past struggles with eating disorders, saying that she would sometimes "go days without eating."

"Or maybe I'd have some fruit and then go to the gym for three hours," she added. "I knew I had a problem ... It was a gradual process but I changed myself." That's good to hear, and I suppose the fact that the interview is in the self-judgement minefield that is Cosmopolitan is a good thing.

Hale is starting to get more and more exposure of late, as "Pretty Little Liars" is going strong. In fact, she's even the latest young starlet to be rumored for the role of Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey."
