Episode 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 1, Episode 20 - 'Someone to Watch Over Me' Recap

The fan? It has been hit with the sh%^, y’all and everyone everywhere is busted.

Spencer’s been served with a search warrant and now the cops are in her room touching all her things.  We get a shot of 5-6 detectives crowding the small space, boxing up whatever they please while Spencer vibrates with fear and the 6 pots of coffee she drinks every morning. It’s actually really disconcerting to see all these grown men in latex gloves violating the sanctity of the teenage girl bedroom.

Spencer runs off to the Rosewood High cafeteria, looking like a fabulous lunatic. There are nautical stripes, appliquéd denim and a fisherman’s hat involved, like Jean Seberg collided with a Midwestern mall in 1993. Love her. She warns all the other little liars that their rooms could be next.

Aria catches her estranged parents together the morning after a secret sleepover. So that’s awkward, but not as bad as when Aria sends a romantic text meant for Mr. Fitz TO! HER! MOTHER! on accident.

Hannah starts out the episode all aglow in her romance with Caleb, flitting around the kitchen ingesting indiscriminate carbs and totally missing the extreme guilt vibes that are radiating from her man. Aria and Emily catch Caleb desperately trying to get out of whatever cahoots he’s been in.

These two little liars tattle to Hannah who is finally enjoying like 15 minutes of actual happiness. Turns out the mysterious 214 clue Toby snatched from Blind Jenna is Caleb’s locker combination. Jenna was paying Caleb to spy on Hannah. Once she puts it all together Hannah slaps the glasses right off Blind Jenna’s face. Show, I love you more every week even when you keep breaking Hannah’s heart.

Emily busts Paige trying to deny her raging gayness and they make out some more.

Ian lurks murderously as Ian does, menacing Spencer while drinking a variety of refreshing beverages and trying to convince her to leave town.
