'Pretty Little Liars': Halloween and Hanna in 'Ravenswood'

'Pretty Little Liars': Halloween and Hanna in 'Ravenswood' Fans of "Pretty Little Liars" won't have to wait until next year to get a little more of their favorite characters. First up, there's the series' annual Halloween special later this month, and then there's an appearance by a "Liars" regular character on a new spin-off series. The two events will aim to keeps fans interested in the new series and eager for the return of "Liars" in 2014.

The two-hour "Liars" Halloween special will air on ABC Family on Oct. 22 at 8pm. Entitled "Grave New World," the episode has Aria (Lucy Hale), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) heading to the nearby town of Ravenswood for its Founders Day Celebration in hopes that they can find Ali before "A" does.

"Ravenswood" itself will debut immediately following the "Liars" Halloween special. In the new series, Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) will make the move from Rosewood to Ravenswood, where he'll team up with new friend Miranda (Nicole Gale Anderson) to investigate strange occurrences around town, the result of a curse that has hung over Ravenswood for many years.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hanna will also make a brief appearance in "Ravenswood," although not until the fifth episode. In that episode, she'll appear during a phone call with Caleb.
