'Pitch Perfect 2' Signs On Acapella Group Pentatonix - Watch All Their Best Performances!

File this one under "of course they are": Pentatonix is going to be in "Pitch Perfect 2!"

The "Pitch Perfect" sequel will obviously be needing more acapella talent to face off against the Barden Bellas, and it definitely has it now. Pentatonix has officially shot a scene for the movie, spending a 12-hour day on set performing a yet-to-be-revealed song that they arranged themselves.

If you were hoping to see some acting from the acapella group, we have bad news: They don't have any dialogue. However, member Scott Hoying told Entertainment Weekly that they're "wearing some pretty interesting things" as far as costumes go, so there's that to look forward to.

Pentatonix rose to fame after their run on NBC's acapella competition show "The Sing Off," where they won the third season. Thereafter, they created a YouTube channel and started raking in the views, starting off with a cover of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" that passed 28 million views, as well as plenty of other performance that have earned millions upon millions of views. Their channel currently has nearly 6 million subscribers.

"Pitch Perfect 2" will feature the return of main cast members Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine, Rebel Wilson and others, who will be joined by new additions Hailee Steinfeld and "Sons of Anarchy" star Katey Sagal. The sequel will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who played a role in the first film.
