PHOTO: First Look at 'True Blood' Star Ryan Kwanten's Superhero Suit for 'Griff the Invisible' In "True Blood," Ryan Kwanten is often shirtless as the muscle-bound (and trouble-prone) Jason Stackhouse. But in his upcoming indie movie "Griff the Invisible," Kwanten is all about covering up with an identity-protecting superhero outfit.

The movie centers on the Aussie Kwanten as an office nerd who moonlights as a hunky superhero, sort of like "Kick-Ass" but with the post-teenage age group. Everything is going fine for Griff until he meets Melody, a beautiful scientist with an eye for adventure.

The movie will be out on August 19th, but if you're lucky enough to get to Comic-Con in San Diego on July 23rd, you might be able to catch a sneak preview screening of "Griff the Invisible" and a Q&A afterward with Kwanten himself.

In the meantime, you can catch a first look at Kwanten in his full "Griff the Invisible" superhero outfit below, or check out more photos from the film inĀ Movieline's exclusive photo gallery. Plus, scroll down to watch the trailer for the movie!
