Pete Wentz Does Not Want A Divorce From Ashlee Simpson

Pete Wentz’s camp has talked to the press and let his feelings about his upcoming divorce leak. Pete did not want to get a divorce and he tried to talk Ashlee Simpson out of filing for divorce earlier this week.

However, the circumstances with which he talked about seem rather…odd.

Pete was partying it up in Dallas for the Super Bowl over the weekend. Ashlee stayed at home with their two year old son, Bronx. In pictures, Pete looks happy, not like a man who was talking about divorce papers. But then, he got to go to the Super Bowl, she didn’t.

Pete Wentz is getting divorced against his will -- so say sources close to the rocker ... he absolutely did not want to end his marriage to Ashlee Simpson. We're told Wentz tried talking Ashlee out of filing divorce papers, to no avail.  She wanted out of the marriage ... sources tell us. In fact, Wentz was flashing his wedding ring and a HUGE smile all over Dallas this past weekend -- while his wife was back home in L.A. with their son Bronx."

What might be another piece to this puzzle is that Ashlee cited erratic behavior as one of the reasons for her divorce. And, judging by the look of Pete’s hair, he might have some erratic blood in his system.

Unstable? Hopefully they can work it out…if they both want to. Will more details come out as far as what is making Pete erratic or why Ashlee wouldn’t take no for an answer and filed anyway?
