Perplexed Heidi Klum Responds to Trump Insult

In an interview with Us Weekly, model Heidi Klum expressed a little puzzlement over the fact that she has become part of the headlines surrounding the 2016 US presidential race.
"To be honest, I have no idea how I got [to be] a part of this election!," Klum told the magazine.
She came to be part of the election when Donald Trump, in an interview with The New York Times, said that Klum was "no longer a 10." The insult sparked widespread outrage among observers, who noted it as another example of the Republican candidate's blatant disrespect for women.
For her part, Klum displayed infinitely more class than Trump by laughing off the remark (while stopping short of rating Trump's physical appearance in return) and even posting a tongue-in-cheek video about the incident on Twitter.
Still, she admits the serious undertones in Trump's comments.
"I don’t think any woman deserves this, but we all do work so very hard and we always try our best, I believe,” Klum said to Us. “Any woman that works very hard, takes care of her kids, husband, family, and of herself — I do believe that we all deserve a 10. I do."
