'Peanuts' Movie Has a Trailer, Featuring a 3D Snoopy

How are you feeling today? Are you open to a new and potentially upsetting movie trailer?

There's going to be a new "Peanuts" movie next year, just in time for Christmas, and the first trailer is already up. For many, this will be a source of joy, as there hasn't been much in terms of new "Peanuts" movies for a long time.

For others, it might be upsetting: "Peanuts" holiday specials are a Christmastime staple, and there's a lot of nostalgia that goes along with them. So, a new movie might just feel too commercial and fail to capture the true spirit of "Peanuts."

Oh, and the movie will also be in 3D, so there's that.

The trailer, to its credit, is pretty cute: it features Snoopy and Woodstock setting up some Christmas decorations around Snoopy's house, before Snoopy goes off on one of his Red Baron fantasy sequences.

Following that, we see a little bit of the rest of the "Peanuts" gang as they sit down to watch a movie, and it looks like poor Charlie Brown is still a laughingstock.

At least they got that much right, eh?

The movie has Charles Schultz' name attached pretty prominently, so hopefully that puts some pressure on those who made the movie to stay true to form. Who knows? This could be a new Christmas classic!
