Pauly D From MTV's Jersey Shore Gets Own Show

Pauly D from the Jersey Shore is getting his own TV show now. Do we really need more in depth details from the gang who calls Jersey Shore home? I guess MTV thought so, because they signed him up with a big payday attached to the project.

Maybe it was actually smart thinking on their part. Jwoww is in to her modeling and her clothing line, Snooki likes to get in trouble with the law and with scandalous photos and The Situation – well, he likes to dance.

I guess Pauly might have been the safest bet, since he has the fewest number of lawsuits against him.

According to People Magazine:

"At the heart of Jersey Shore is the unique and genuine cast, and Pauly D truly embodies both qualities," MTV programming chief Chris Linn says. "We know viewers are curious about his life away from the shore, and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that."

A pilot has already been filmed. DelVecchio is a rising star on the DJ circuit, and has released his first single with Universal Republic Records from the Jersey Shore soundtrack.

Will you be tuning in to see about Pauly’s life outside of the Shore? Can he score as many women when he is trying to work or is that strictly a part of the other crazy show?

Since Pauly has a show, will Snooki and JWoww demand their own shows? More importantly, will MTV give in to their demands and grant them shows, especially since The Hills and The City are old news?
