'Twilight' Star Robert Pattinson Sets Date for 'Tonight Show.' Will He Talk Alligator Blood?

May the countdown begin. In 9 days, Robert Pattinson will plop onto a comfy chair aside Jay Leno to promote his new film “Water for Elephants,” co-starring Reese Witherspoon.

Although he usually remains mum on his private affairs (including his rumored relationship with “Twilight” co-star Kristen Stewart), Pattinson could take the talk-show appearance as an opportunity to open up.

Alluding, perhaps, to his own wild side, Pattinson was recently photographed with an alligator around his neck for the April cover of Vanity Fair.

Let’s hope the alligator blood stays in the bayou. In the article Pattinson, who is mostly vague on Stewart – calling her “cool,” does admit to having an appreciation for Charlie Sheen.

“I like crazy people who don’t give a (explicit),” Pattinson said.

While his relationship with Stewart may or may not survive - Pattinson said the media will lose interest after the series ends – it is certain that Pattinson’s movie choices are proving he will be around for some time.

“Water for Elephants” premieres in New York on April 17.
