'Parks and Recreation' Co-Creator Mike Schur Gives 10 Reasons to Watch Tonight's Finale

'Parks and Recreation' Co-Creator Mike Schur Gives 10 Reasons to Watch Tonight's Finale I'm so pleased that "Parks and Recreation" has become a certified, if rather niche, success. After a very rocky first season, the show blew the doors off at the start of the second and never let up. I just had a hard time convincing people that it had become a good show.

But now it seems like everybody knows, and though the third season has been on the shorter side - sixteen episodes inside of four months - it's been a delight from start to finish (well we'll see if it sticks the landing tonight, but I have a pretty good feeling about it).

And series co-creator Mike Schur is here to give you ten juicy hints for tonight's two-part season finale. While the full explanations tend to give quite a bit of information away, I've isolated the key bits. Keep in mind this will reveal some plot points, but I've left out the jokes. Head over to Entertainment Weekly if you want to know it all.

1. Leslie and Ben have to keep their relationship a secret, to varying degrees of success. And we all know how Leslie tends to scramble when things get out of her control...

2. Tom's entrepreneurial dreams come to a head and he may finally have an opportunity to get out of government.

3. Ann might see some growth after spiraling into a tailspin following her break-up with Chris.

4. Chris has big ideas for reorganizing the department that don't necessarily sit well with everyone else. And...he has to go to the doctor, which is a big problem for his rigorous health regiment.

5. Ron's mustache is in trouble, and Tammy (Ron's ex-wife) returns.

6. Andy gets a title at the department, and gets a big opportunity for his band.

7. April helps Andy write his song (perhaps tying into last week's revelation of her musical talent?)

8. Jerry, as usual, has a wonderful idea that is completely thwarted.

9. Donna may have the secret on how to deal with Ron (hint: he likes strong women), but she does not have the secret to speaking languages she does not know.

10. The ending, according to Schur, is maybe the craziest thing they've ever done on the show. And by his description, I'll go ahead and say it - it's the craziest thing they've ever done on the show.

I'll miss "Parks and Recreation" every second it's not on the air, but luckily it's been renewed for a fourth season, so we needn't wait long.
