Paris Hilton Pals Around With Boxing Champ Manny Pacquiao After He Clobbers Shane Mosley

Pacquiao and Paris Pals? Boxing champ, congressman, singer....Paris pal?

After absolutely dominating boxer Shane Mosely for twelve rounds on Saturday night at the MGM Grand arena in Las Vegas to retain his WBO welterweight title, the deadly but lovable Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao apparently spent some quality time hanging out with reality star Paris Hilton.

“Wow! Such an honor to be brought on stage by Manny & his wife Jinkee after the fight. Can’t wait to visit them when I go to the Philippines,” Hilton tweeted.

Paris and sister Nicky watched the fight ringside, and Pacquiao asked her to attend the post-fight press conference as well. While plenty of boxing fans may have been wondering what Hilton has to do with championship fights, Pacquiao may have been flexing his new political skills. Pacquiao is a recently elected Congressman for the Sarangani province in the Philippines.

Rumors in the Filipino press have Hilton potentially bankrolling a Paris Hilton Beach Club on the islands.

Though nothing is confirmed, Pacquiao is smart enough to realize that sharing the spotlight (and a little bit of mic time) with the heiress, just as she's set to premiere her new reality show "The World According to Paris" might help grease the wheels for a potentially nice piece of job-creating development in the islands.

Pacquiao wore yellow gloves during his fight "to signify the unity of the Filipino people across the globe" and to symbolize the fight against poverty in the island nation.

Wheeling and dealing with hot, rich blonde hotel developers after a grueling twelve-rounder with a lethal former champ was apparently not enough for the boundlessly energetic boxer, as he wrapped up the night with a rousing live performance of "La Bamba" on stage at Mandalay Bay.

It's a tradition the boxer, who has won ten titles in eight different weight divisions, has done for years, regardless of who he's fighting.
