'Our Idiot Brother' Trailer BANNED By ABC!

In the most recent trailer for "Our Idiot Brother," Paul Rudd finds himself in a little bit of trouble with the law. But the trailer itself seems to be breaking some rules too...at least, according to ABC it is.

The network is refusing to air the trailer for the movie due to what it deems to be inappropriate content. ABC has said that it will air the trailer if three offending clips are cut: a scene showing a drug sale, a clip of Rudd miming urination using a juicebox, and references to getting high.

So, basically the whole trailer.

Seriously, the commercial is a 30-second trailer, and if you cut out those parts, you'd have about 5 seconds left.

The whole thing seems like a major overreaction from ABC, considering that we're talking about a scene in which Rudd gets arrested for selling drugs to a cop (seems a good moral lesson) and that the network is offended by a juicebox.

Of course, The Weinstein Company couldn't have asked for a better opportunity for more publicity. They got plenty of coverage for "The King's Speech" for another censorship controversy, in which the MPAA gave the movie an R rating for language.

Check out the trailer below.

Should it be banned, or is ABC just too uptight?
