'Orange is the New Black' Teaser Trailer - When Will Season 2 Hit Netflix?

The teaser trailer for season two of Netflix original "Orange is the New Black" might not reveal as much as fans might wish for, but it does drop one major bit of information - the premiere date.

Audiences still need to wait until June 6th for the arrival of season 2 in its entirety. Let the countdown begin!

In the meantime, you can try to satisfy yourself with a 15-second glimpse of what is to come. It's not juicy, but it does suggest that there will be a LOT of drama in the upcoming season.

If Piper (Taylor Schilling) could kill with just a look, someone would be dropping dead.

Might some of this have to do with the fact that character Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett (Taryn Manning) has been upgraded to series regular? It's a surprising move considering where season 1 left the mouthy, Bible-thumping meth addict.

The show will also delve more into the lives of other characters, including Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren (Uzo Aduba) and Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson (Danielle Brooks), who have had their appearances upgraded.

"It's becoming much more of an ensemble," says show creator Jenji Kohan. "As much as I love Piper and Taylor and her journey, I think people are interested in everybody's journey."

On the opposite end of the spectrum, viewers will be seeing much less of Alex Vause (Laura Prepon), who will only appear in 4 of the 13 episodes.
