Watching the Opening Dance Sequence from 'The Muppets'

Does the end of Daylight Savings Time and all that early darkness have you in a surly funk? We may have just the ticket to help you turn that frown upside down.

Trust us, it's awfully hard to take life too seriously when you're watching a preview of the first dance number from "The Muppets."

In this first theatrical feature for the favorite sons and daughters of the late Jim Henson, Jason Segel, Amy Adams and Segel's oddly felt-like little dress-alike brother Walter -- the Muppets' biggest fan -- must help Kermit and Co. raise $10 million via The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever.

They'll need to raise the whole amount to save the Muppet Theater from being demolished by Texas oil man Tex Richman, played by Chris Cooper.

But that all comes later. In this early clip, life is a bowl of cherries with no pits - among the several other ways Segel and Walter describe it - as the two make some Main Street, USA their own personal dance floor.

For those keeping score, "The Muppets" will be the first theaterical Muppets movie in 12 years, the second overall Muppets feature to receive the MPAA's "PG" tag for mild crude humor and the first theatrical Muppets flick to get it.

Oh, and of course, it hits theaters Nov. 23.
