'Twilight' Meets the 'Muppets': Parody Trailer Takes on 'Breaking Dawn'

The marketers behind "The Muppets" would like to thank the Internet for watching/loving/putting up with their string of parody trailers this year. As a token of their thanks, here's another parody trailer.

Things get pretty meta here as the trailer begins by parodying its own parody trailers (ouch, my brain!), but then it moves into the Muppet parody stuff we've gotten used to thus far. In this video, "Paranormal Activity," "Puss in Boots" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" are all targeted, albeit briefly.

Then, the announcer promises that this is indeed the last of the parody trailers (probably). That ends a series that included references to "The Hangover: Part II," "Green Lantern," and "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."

It looks like from here on in, we'll just be seeing regular ol' movie trailers for "The Muppets"... though I'm sure they'll still have that special Muppet spin to them.
