Behind the Scenes Photos: One Big Happy Family On 'Avengers' Set

Another day, another dollar, and another several rails pass under the 2012 superhero-movie hype-train.

Entertainment Weekly graces the world today with some candid shots behind the scenes as shooting continues on 2012's Marvel mash-up "The Avengers." From the looks of it, Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner clocked some green-screen time as Black Widow and Hawkeye, respectively.

Meanwhile, it also appears that Chris Evans' Captain America and Robert Downey, Jr.'s Tony Stark share a little time in and around what looks a lot like Stark's home's basement lab.

Judging from being in costume, it looks like Chris Hemsworth (Thor) was also doing more than just stopping by to say "hey."

Directed by Joss Whedon and also starring Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson and Mark Ruffalo, "The Avengers" hits theaters May 4, 2012.
