'Once Upon a Time' Season 3, Episode 5: 'Good Form' Recap A Lost Boy goads Henry into fighting him with a sword. Pan suggest Henry use a real sword - he tells him to close his eyes and believe, and Henry's stick becomes a true sword. He attacks the other Boy, and manages to slash his face. He apologizes but Pan tells him Lost Boys don't apologize; the others cheer.

Emma wants to somehow send a sign to Henry so he doesn't lose hope. Emma rejects Hook's attempts to charm, as usual, and Charming tells Hook that Emma will never warm to a pirate.

Flashback to Hook as a dapper ship's Leftenant. He is the Captain's younger brother. His brother gives him a gift to commemorate the mission of their dreams, commissioned by the king himself. A hero's journey.

The group sets a trap for a Lost Boy. Charming takes Hook to search for more rope, and reminds him again that he needs to stay away from Hook. Hook notes that David's just going to die in a few days anyway. Hook tells him there may be a way to save him, but Charming insists anything that takes them off hunting Henry is selfish. He takes a swing at Hook but falls, unconscious.

Hook manages to revive him. He says Charming only has hours left. He needs to tell his family. Charming sees something on the ground - a military badge for Captain Jones, Hook's brother. It must have washed down from Deadman's peak. He wonders if the satchel that belonged to his brother is still atop the Peak, and in it, the sextant that could help them read Neal's map.

Flashback to Hook, as the eager and sweet Killian, being told by his brother that they're going to a land never discovered before. Another ship attacks and they retaliate. The captain unrolls a sail, made of the feathers from a Pegasus. The ship goes airborne.

Hook and Charming prepare to go to the peak. Charming hugs his wife and daughter, saying his goodbyes. They do not understand he means forever.

Emma, Regina, and Snow trap a Lost Boy. They bribe him to send a message to Henry. They say that if they can rescue Henry, they can rescue all the Lost Boys. He rejects the offers.

Charming tells Hook he will make up a story so that Charming dies suddenly and a hero, rather than by the poison.

Killian and his brother have arrived at Neverland. Captain Jones explains they're looking for a plant potent enough to heal any wound. Pan appears. He tells them the plant is dreamshade, a deadly poison. Killian wonders if the king has misled them, but the captain disbelieves Pan.

Hook encounters Pan, alone. Pan offers him a deal - to come back and work for him. He offers him passage off the island, and he can take Emma with him. Pan says he'll know that Hook is accepting his deal when he sees him kill Charming.

Killian and his brother Liam find the dreamshade, but Killian is refusing to act. To prove their king was right, Liam cuts his arm deeply the the dreamshade thorn. The poison hits him almost instantly.

The girls argue over what to do with the Lost Boy. Emma, for once, sides with Regina. She takes the Boy's heart so she can control him. Snow is furious. Regina gives the boy a magic mirror so they can see Henry.

Charming pulls a sword on Hook. He heard the conversation with Pan. Hook tells him that Pan is turning them against each other. There is also no sextant. Hook planted the insignia, so he could get Charming to the peak.

Flashback to Hook over Liam's still body. Pan appears and says he was warned. There is a way to stop him from dying, however. Pan shows him a spring, hidden behind the dreamshade. Drinking from the water will cure any ill... but like all magic, it comes with a price. Hook brings water to Liam. It revives him. Hook goes to pay the boy, but Pan has disappeared.

The Lost Boy goes to Henry. He tells him his family is there. He shows him on the mirror. Henry thinks it is a trick, but they convince him they are there to save him. Pan comes, and Henry throws the mirror, breaking it.

Liam and Killian sail back toward home. Liam plans to reveal the king's lie. They land their ship, nearly home. Liam falls suddenly, dying.

Charming has fallen, little life left. Hook brings him water from the spring. He tells him that it will cure him, but once he drinks the water, he can never leave Neverland. Charming decides it's a small price to pay to help his family. He drinks and is cured. They return and tell the ladies the sextant was gone. Charming tells them Hook saved him in an ambush. They cheers to him.

Emma thanks him. He teases her, and she kisses him, but tells him it was a one-time thing.

Killian buries his brother at sea. He has become the captain of the ship. He tells his crew about the poison their king sent them to find. He lights the magic sail on fire, and vows they will no longer take orders from their dishonorable king. They will become pirates.

Hook sips his rum in the jungle. Pan appears. Hook tells him Emma is starting to see him as he is - a man of honor. He doesn't need Pan's help to win her.

Pan tells him that they have Neal. Alive. What will a man of honor do with that secret?
