'Once Upon a Time' Season 2 Promo: Magic's in the Air

With season two of "Once Upon a Time" premiering at the end of the month (for exact dates and times, check out our ABC premiere schedule), it's about time we saw a big promo with some new footage, isn't it?

That's exactly what ABC has delivered: the "Once Upon a Time" season two promo, complete with plenty of footage from the upcoming season. The stakes are definitely higher this time around... and so is the show's special effects budget.

The season one finale left us with Storybrooke and its fairy tale residents finally being lifted of their curse, which was a big win for Henry and Emma. However, the battle isn't over yet: now that the residents remember who they are and what they can do, that could mean serious trouble.

In the promo, we see that the wicked queen has remembered a few spells, and seems determined to curse the town right back again. Rumplestiltskin is up to something as well, and our heroes look to have a new villain to deal with as the promo reveals a silver hook being fastened as a hand. And is that a glimpse of the dragon we see? Uh oh.

In addition to the Captain, we get a look at another new character, Mulan, who will be played by "Sucker Punch" star Jamie Chung. Chances are pretty good that we'll be seeing plenty of other classic fairy tale characters showing up throughout the second season.
