'Once Upon a Time' Considering 'Frozen' Cross-Over

'Once Upon a Time' Considering 'Frozen' Cross-Over One of the fun things about "Once Upon a Time" is seeing your favorite Disney characters pop up on the show. But for the most part, the characters we've seen have been classics that have been around for a long time: Snow White, Captain Hook, Prince Charming, etc.

But new-school Disney is about to make an appearance!

E! Online is reporting that "OUAT" producers Eddie Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are considering adding the characters from "Frozen" to the Storybrooke gang. Even better, they're trying to land Kristen Bell in the role of Anna, whom she voiced in the animated film!

"We would be completely honored if Kristen or Idina wanted to do our show," Horowitz said, referring to Bell and her co-star Idina Menzel, who voiced Anna's sister Elsa.

But what does Bell think of reprising her role, this time in the flesh as well as the voice? "That would be unbelievable," Bell said. "I love that character so much. She's everything that I wanted to see when I was five years old, so she's very close to my heart."

That's one of them on board! There's been no comment from Menzel yet about the news, but you'd have to figure she would be game after the incredible success of her song "Let It Go," not to mention the whole "Adele Dazeem" thing at the Oscars.

This raises an interesting question about the characters, though, who are in their late teens in the movie. Seeing as Bell is 33 and Menzel is 42, they're likely not going to be playing 18 year olds, so if we do see Elsa and Anna played by their original actresses, they will likely be older versions of the characters. So if "Frozen" does make an appearance on the show and Disney wants to keep them closer to their film age, we might see a recasting.

Hey, we just want to see Elsa bring her ice powers to the show and do a little dueling with Regina. Right?
