Omari Hardwick Tries to Break Good in 'Power'

James "Ghost" St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) is not your typical drug dealer, and he's not your typical legitimately successful businessman, either. Make no mistake: he's both a drug dealer and a successful business man. He's just not typical. As the third season of Power debuts on Starz, Ghost continues to try to leave his life of crime behind and instead focus on his above-board business, the popular nightclub Truth.

When last we saw Ghost, at the end of season two, he was grappling, literally, with Kanan (played by the show's executive producer, rapper 50 Cent), a former associate who wants revenge for Ghost's involvement in his incarceration. At the season finale's climax, it looked as if Ghost had taken care of the problem with Kanan for good, but the episode's final line suggested that Ghost's problems are still very much alive.

Now Ghost must deal not only with Kanan, but also his relationship with his mistress, Angela (Lela Loren), and his increasingly complex business empire. Even if Ghost can manage to keep his criminal past in line - and we know, of course, that's not going to happen - running several thriving nightclubs is going to offer its own challenges.

The third season of Power premieres on Starz on July 17.
