Off Life-Support, Usher's Stepson Dies

Off Life-Support, Usher's Stepson Dies Following injuries sustained in a jet ski accident and eventual removal from life support, Usher's 11-year-old stepson Kile Glover has died, Access Hollywood reports.

As reported by TMZ, Glover's injuries sustained when a jet ski collided with his innertube on Atlanta's Lake Lanier July 8 were deemed by doctors to be too severe "to overcome." The site also claimed that Glover's mother and Usher's ex, Tameka Foster, didn't come to the decision lightly. As expected, she's said to be "agonized" by having to order him off life support.

A 15-year-old female friend of Glover's who was also struck reportedly sustained only a broken arm and head laceration. Following the accident, she was airlifted to a hospital. CNN previously reported that family friend Jeffrey Hubbard, 38, was driving the jet ski but not under the influence of alcohol.

A representative for Usher didn't immediately return a request for comment.

He and Foster were wed from 2007 to 2009, and together had two children, Raymond V and a Naviyd Ely Raymond. A custody dispute has often grown ugly since their divorce, keeping Usher in tabloid headlines.
