Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder Engagement Rumors: 'I'm Not Going to Pull a Miley'

Don't expect Nina Dobrev and Miley Cyrus to be planning their weddings together anytime soon.

Rumors have been flying about "The Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder (which is to say people have been bugging them a lot) and their potential engagement. Unfortunately for fans who were hoping for the couple to be a bit more committed than their on-screen counterparts, it just isn't true... yet.

"Eventually I am going to marry and have a family, but not anytime soon," Dobrev told US Weekly. You can't blame her, really: while Somerhalder is 33 years old, Dobrev is just 23 and therefore in no rush to tie the knot.

In fact, Dobrev went so far as to make a bit of a dig at another young starlet, one who just got a ring on her finger despite her young age. "I'm not going to pull a Miley," said Dobrev, referring to Miley Cyrus' engagement to Liam Hemsworth. Ouch. Guess somebody doesn't have her blessing.

Dobrev and Somerhalder have been romantically linked since 2010, and the engagement rumors have been circulating since January of this year. As for now, it seems the two are focused only on season four of "The Vampire Diaries," which premieres this fall.
