Nicole Richie Calls Out Charlie Sheen From 'The View' Co-host Chair

Nicole Richie sat in one of the hot seats on "The View" recently and blasted Charlie Sheen for his outrageous and seemingly irresponsible behavior. Richie was a co-host on show, and used her time in the spotlight to blast Sheen. The actress basically told him to get a life and grow up.

That’s pretty funny, considering that Richie is what, close to twenty years younger than Sheen is? And Richie should be allowed to say those things to Sheen, because she is living proof that one can overcome obstacles and clean yourself up – with a little bit of your own hard work.

"I don't think he should make it somebody else's responsibility to keep him sober," said Richie. Richie has been to jail three times and gone to rehab for substance abuse.

Richie, who is sober, married and currently raising two children, went on to say:

"If he wants [his sobriety] to last for a long time, it's up to him. He's an adult and he needs to take responsibility for his actions."

Richie does have a point.

Why does a forty something year old man still need handlers to try and clean him up? He doesn’t think he has a problem…what will make him think he has a problem? Tough love is a hard thing to do…especially if Sheen’s behavior isn’t costing you money from your job and family. Do you think Sheen will stay sober for any length of time?
