New TLC Series 'Outrageous Kid Parties' to Highlight Behemoth Baby Bashes

TLC will preNew TLC Series 'Outrageous Kid Parties' to Highlight Behemoth Baby Bashes miere a new series that gives “My Super Sweet Sixteen” a run for its Louis Vuitton-Cupcakes and Blinged-out Bentleys.

On February 21st, TLC takes viewers to the inside circle of extravagant children celebrations with "Outrageous Kid Parties." The series debut, of the first of four 30-minute episodes, will be appropriately followed by an all new “Cake Boss.”

As the press release states:

“The show will introduce viewers to families who spend a small fortune to give their kids the celebration of a lifetime – even if that child’s lifetime has only been six years thus far.”

"Outrageous Kid Parties" will document parents that go beyond their means and push their family members to extremes to create “eye popping, jaw dropping” parties of epic proportions.

Nancy Daniesl, SVP of Production and Development, says “Outrageous Kid Parties" is a natural and fun fit for TLC “with relatable families” throwing unusual and “over the top” celebrations.

“A child’s birthday is certainly a momentous occasion, but I think what audiences will most enjoy is watching the parents who got a little carried away,” she said.

In similar extravagant revelations, Taylor from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” was flagged by reality viewers after spending $60,000 on her 4-year-old daughter’s birthday party.

Around the same time, Kim from the show set the bar (significantly) lower with a $12,000 party for her two-year-old.

"I don't give my daughter that elaborate of a birthday party every year," Talor said, speaking to the first three years of her daighter's life. "Next year I'm sure it'll be much less extravagant."
