New 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Trailer Offers Better Look at the Crew

The first trailer for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" offered only glimpses of our half-shelled heroes. This new one aims to fix that.

The newest trailer for the upcoming Michael Bay reboot starts off the same: There's a monologue by our inevitable bad guy to April O'Neil (Megan Fox) about how heroes are created, and there are some quick flashes of the turtles in action.

But last time, we only got a really good, prolonged look at Michelangelo. This time around, we get to see the whole crew when they aren't flying around and kicking ass.

There's Leonardo, looking heroic; Raphael, looking badass; more shots of Michelangelo, this time getting on a skateboard, Mikey style; and there's Donatello, who looks to be going full-on mad scientist in this version, with some kind of contraption on his head.

The trailer even gives us a glimpse of Splinter, and just the briefest of looks at Shredder, besides the one shot of his helmet that we saw in the first trailer.

Sadly, the turtles are still ugly as heck with Bay's redesign. But this trailer does offer some hope that at least the characters haven't been messed with all that much: Leo's still the stoic leader, Raph is still the rebel, Donnie is still into science, and Mikey is still the party dude.
