New 'Super' Trailer Shows Just How Funny Rainn Wilson Can Be

If you thought "Kick-Ass" was a funny, irreverent look at superheroes, wait until you get a load of "Super."

The official trailer for the James Gunn comedy debuted today, and it looks like a perfect marriage of comedy, action, and twisted perversion.

The film stars Rainn Wilson as a man who turns to a life as a vigilante superhero by the name of "Crimson Bolt" when his wife (played by Liv Tyler) is stolen by a smooth-talking rival (played by the always-great Kevin Bacon). Ellen Page co-stars as Crimson Bolt's sidekick, and Nathan Fillion will appear in a smaller role as well.

All in all, "Super" looks to have an amazing cast and have some seriously funny moments. With James Gunn at the helm (who brought you the "PG Porn" series of web sketches), that would be no surprise.

It's also great to see Wilson, who consistently shines on "The Office," getting another chance at a starring movie role. His last starring role was in the ill-fated "The Rocker," but the movie's lack of success can hardly be blamed on him.
