Spider-Man star Tom Holland warns fans before the latest trailer for this summer's Far From Home sequel that if they haven't seen Avengers: Endgame, they might want to skip watching the latest preview for his upcoming Marvel film.

Indeed, the latest Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer kicks off with characters mourning a fallen Avenger before Holland's Peter Parker is summoned by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to meet Quentin Beck, aka Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal.

The new trailer gives viewers more of a sense of Beck's backstory, while continuing to portray him as an ally to Spider-Man, even though Mysterio is one of Spider-Man's oldest villains.

Fury introduces Peter to Beck, saying the latter is "from Earth, just not ours."

"The snap tore a hole in our dimension," he adds.

Peter seems excited by this, marveling, "You're saying there's a multiverse?"

Like in the first preview, Peter tries to get out of being called into service, hoping to enjoy his trip.

Later Beck asks Peter what he wants and Peter says he wants to go back to his friends and tell MJ how he feels.

And he tells Peter, "Saving the world requires sacrifices. Sometimes people die."

The preview also features more of Peter's burgeoning romance with MJ (Zendaya), including her revealing that she knows he's Spider-Man, and Jon Favreau's Happy interacting with MJ and Peter's other friends as the gang heads to Europe on what's supposed to be a vacation.
