New Schue on the Block: Matthew Morrison of 'Glee' Joins NKOTB and Backstreet Boys Tour

How's this for a mash-up: New Kids on the Block, the Backstreet Boys, and Mr. Schuester.

That's what you'll see if you attend the NKOTB and Backstreet Boys summer tour, as "Glee" star Matthew Morrison has officially joined the touring show. "This was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up," Morrison said. "I'm so appreciative of my fans and I'm planning to give them a great show."

That's right, Mr. Schuester and his butt-chin are taking this show on the road.

Morrison has already done plenty of work on the stage (he was nominated for a Tony award) before hitting television, where he has also been nominated for his work on "Glee." Morrison recently released his own solo album, "Summer Rain," a move that is happening more and more often with those who appear on the Fox show (see Gwyneth Paltrow).

Morrison will perform with the tour for about a month, starting in Anaheim on July 6th and continuing on to London on August 7th. He already had a number of solo shows planned, so some of them might be moved around to accomodate the new tour dates with the boy bands.

So, I guess now you can call it the NKOTBBSBMM tour.
