New 'Orange is the New Black' Character Will Provide Love Triangle; Aussie Ruby Rose Cast in Role

Litchfield is about to get a new dose of drama.

Model and DJ Ruby Rose announced in an interview with Elle magazine that she will be taking on a new role in the upcoming third season of "Orange is the New Black" on Netflix.

According to Netflix, Rose will be playing "an inmate at Litchfield Federal Correctional Institution whose sarcastic sense of humor and captivating looks quickly draw the attention of some of Litchfield’s inmates."

The Elle article adds that "some of Litchfield's inmates," in this situation, actually means Piper and Alex. Are we looking at a lesbian love triangle? Netflix won't confirm that particular plot point, but it seems as though we are.

Rose hasn't made much of a name for herself in the U.S. or outside of her native Australia yet, but with her striking looks and what seems to be a major role on one of Netflix's most talked-about TV shows, this could be her big break.

Season 3 of "OITNB" has no set release date yet, but will likely hit Netflix in June of this year.
