If you're a fan of series on The CW, you'll probably be especially happy with the new programming that's going to be streaming on Netflix in October. New seasons of a plethora of CW shows will hit the service throughout the month, allowing for a satisfying amount of binge watching.
New episodes of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, The Flash, Supernatural, iZombie and Arrow will all show up on the service between the beginning of the month and the middle. Other series hitting Netflix during October include American Horror Story: Freak Show and Jane the Virgin.
Home improvement addicts will also have plenty of new material to watch in October. New episodes of Property Virgins, Extreme Homes, Million Dollar Rooms, House Hunters Renovation and Fixer Upper will all debut on Netflix this month.
Million Dollar Baby and August: Osage County, which hits the service at the end of the month, will help to satisfy viewers' hunger for critically acclaimed films.
The updates for the month are a mixed bag for those hoping to have quality Halloween entertainment through October. Horror documentary The Nightmare debuts on the service this month, as does horror sequel Curse of Chucky, a new season of Netflix original Hemlock Grove. However, some highly regarded scary movies, most notably The Exorcist, are leaving Netflix before Halloween.
