New on Netflix for November: 'Gilmore Girls' and 'Jungle Book'
by EG
Netflix has plenty of new content to keep you busy next month, but some of that content is more hotly anticipated than others. There's a new Netflix-produced series that you've been waiting a long, long time to see, and there's a blockbuster movie that you haven't been waiting very long for at all.
The Netflix deal with Disney continues to pay dividends for subscribers in November when The Jungle Book hits the service at the end of the month. Recent hit movies are a rarity on Netflix, but given that Disney has produced the biggest movies of 2016 so far and that Netflix has the exclusive rights to most of them, expect to see more top hits like this one from now on. The Jungle Book currently stands as the fourth highest-grossing movie of 2016, and it's the second top-ten movie that Netflix has added to its roster this fall; Zootopia, at number six, came to the service last month.
The other big Netflix even in November is the debut of the long-awaited four-episode revival of Gilmore Girls. The four feature-length episodes of the beloved classic, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, come to the service on November 25.
New offerings earlier in the month are not quite as newsworthy, but they do include the movies Meet the Blacks (November 2) and The African Queen (November 1).
