New on Netflix for February: Sausage and Badness

Winter is dragging on, but Netflix is doing its part to bring entertainment to your bleak winter days. New movie offerings for February are especially strong in the comedy category, and new episodes of a few acclaimed TV series will hit the service during the month, too.

Among the month's new movies are popular comedies from the Judd Apatow/Seth Rogen crew. Superbad, starring Jonah Hill, Rogen and Michael Cera (and produced by Apatow) debuts on February 4. Rogen's super-raunchy animated comedy, Sausage Party, comes to Netflix on February 23; having just been in theaters last summer, this is one of the few recent releases to debut on the service during the month.

The Tim Burton fantasies The Nightmare Before Christmas and Corpse Bride will debut in February, as will a new special from stand-up comedian Michael Birbiglia.

Among new TV series, the biggest addition is probably The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story; the popular series debuts February 2. Netflix's accelerated airing of CW series also gets under way this month with the debut of season two of Crazy Ex-Girlfirend on February 11, shortly after the end of the season on broadcast TV. The third season of Chef's Table willbe available for streaming on February 17.
