New on Netflix for February: Fuller House and Better Call Saul

A few new theatrical movies will hit Netflix in the second month of 2016, but the big news for February is the debut of several new Netflix original series, including one title that's been getting more buzz than most.

The notable movies joining Netflix's catalog in February are mostly solid fare from decades past, such as Cruel Intentions, Full Metal Jacket, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Jennifer 8 and Scooby-Doo. The usual crop of sequels will debut, too, including Land Before Time: XIV: Journey of the Brave and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

Among broadcast series debuting this month, the highlight is the addition of the first season of AMC's Breaking Bad spin-off, Better Call Saul. The series is getting acclaim as one of the best of the past year, and its debut on Netflix has been eagerly anticipated.

In the second week of the month, a couple of kid-oriented originals premiere: Care Bears & Cousins, season 2 and Turbo: F.A.S.T., season 3. Around mid-month, it's time for originals from high-profile creators: Michael Pollan's food documentary series, Cooked, and Judd Apatow's comedy series, Love.

The end of the month sees the premiere of Fuller House, the much-talked-about revival of the 90s sitcom Full House, and the spin-off martial arts series Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.
