New on Netflix in April: 'Titanic' is Back

Spring has been slow to come to much of the country, so even though it's April, you're probably still stuck inside. Fortunately, Netflix has added some new selections to its streaming catalog this month, giving you some different things to watch while you're waiting for the weather to warm up.

You can get yourself in the mood to get out and be active when the weather permits by checking out a few sports movies that are newly available for streaming. Boxing is well represented by Sylvester Stallone's original "Rocky" and Will Smith's bio pic "Ali." For those of you who love the idea of watching Madonna play baseball, there's "A League of Their Own."

Netflix is now also offering a selection of blockbusters from a variety of eras, including 1977's "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," 1995's "Braveheart" and 1997's "Titanic."

Quite a few critically acclaimed classics are on hand, too, including "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (2000), "Chinatown" (1974) and "The English Patient" (1996). And although you still can't stream "12 Years a Slave," you can check out Steven Spielberg's 1997 film about the slave trade, "Amistad."

Beyond that, there's a grab bag of films for diverse audiences, including "Scary Movie 3," Ryan Gosling's "Lars and the Real Girl" and Robin Williams' "Jumanji."
