'Gossip Girl' Sneak Peak: New Season Five Trailer

Sun, sand and Chuck Bass: stunt man? Get ready for your first "Gossip Girl" blast of the season because the CW has released a new trailer for the upcoming fifth season of the show.

What will get the resident Upper East Siders of "Gossip Girl" texting this season? From the trailer it seems like everything is sun, sand, and "Yes Man" as our favorite privileged troublemakers explore Los Angeles.

"Los Angeles is a plastic surgery layover, not somewhere you live," complains Blair in the clip. "Everyone has dinner there at six."

It doesn't look like the rest of the non-judging Breakfast Club agrees with Blair. Serena says that LA is a place to reinvent yourself. Someone who definitely agrees with that is the show's dapper bad-boy Chuck Bass, who explains to Serena and Nate that the word of the moment is "yes".

For Nate, a well placed yes seems to land him in bed with new reoccurring character Elizabeth Hurley, previously teased as a "sexy, smart, self-made media mogul and all-around force to be reckoned with."

Personally, I'm excited to see Chuck Bass' new career as a stunt man. The clip shows Chuck diving off a building onto padding and then coolly brushing himself off. After the dramatic (and at times melodramatic) season Chuck had last year, it'll be good to see him get back to his roots: saying inappropriate things and finding twins wherever he goes.

Maybe sunny, carefree Los Angeles is just what the doctor ordered for Serena, Chuck and Nate? They certainly seem to be having an infectious amount of fun and that probably bodes well for the show's sexy fifth season premiere.
